Hi – welcome! The art background I have, both academic and expressive is playing a pivotal role in facing reality. Supported by family, I am feeling my way after losing my husband and life-partner of nearly sixty years. I can look back, but now am learning how to live in the present, and (eventually) look forward. Does Matariki come to mind here?
Equally attention-getting is the Flower Collective, (a cooperative of artists) of which I am part, spear-headed by Marion Gordon-Flower. We have several upcoming exhibitions. Actually, the first is planned for Matariki.
Yes, there are many blessings. Another is having a beautiful garden with views of a park and of the Tamaki estuary. Unsurprisingly, caring for this, sets up a constant tug of war for my time in the studio where pens, pastels and paint await.
