3. Exhibition Chatham Islands works

After travelling to the Chatham Islands I was inspired to create a series of works based on the history and ecology of the remote islands. These works were part of an exhibition at the “Estuary Arts Centre”, Orewa.

4. Exhibition at “Malcolm Smith Gallery”

This series of works was exhibited as part of a group exhibition titled, “Perspectives, Te Tai Ao – notions of the universal”.

5. Exhibition Estuary Art Competition

My painting titled “Ronald” depicted the late Ronald Lockley, a naturalist and writer. Ronald in the foreground and behind him Tahuna Torea, the nature reserve he was a founder of.

5. Exhibition at friend’s home

Art collector friends held a gallery day at their house. The work below was on display. This painting depicts the movement of the ocean and was called “The Gatherers” because it is about albatrosses searching for baby octopi floating on top of the water.
